  Many even on this forum will not agree with the stance Russia has taken because it encroaches on the freedoms of religion that Western democracy holds out. But this quote stands out to me. How can anyone really argue against it. Specifically if you have inside knowledge after escaping the cult? At the same time, many religions propagate their exclusivity. That Russia categorizes Watchtower with ISIS is also curious. It will be interesting to watch how this all plays out.

  The fraud that is the WT member numbers

  ok i'm just thinking out load here so to speak.

  but let say in the year 2000 the wt says they have 1 million publishers and at the end of the year they say they had 300,000 people get baptized so in the beginning of the year 2001 they show 1,300,000 publishers.

  then in this new year they state another 300,000 get baptized but with 50,000 deaths and 50,000 disfellowshippings they stated at the end of year 2001 a total of 1,500,000 total members.

  so i'm sure a good number of us saw the chart that i believe the poster splash put on another thread of figures since 1990 regarding how many baptized and % of increase each year .

  i started analyzing it ( and i know some referred to it briefly on the other thread ) and guessing of reasons the % of increase didn't match the number of newly baptized.

  and of course common sense tells us that either jw's leave the cult each year through death, fading into inactivity, or getting dfed.

  Watchtower would never display this info in a chart. Rather they spin "peak publishers" to make it look like amazing growth. Inactive and faders would not be counted in the "peak publisher" total. 6 months of non reporting of field service time would take you out of that column and put you into the exit column.

  hi if you go onto youtube and look for goodsearch.com and see what abc news has to say about it.its a search engine and so that you use it it donates half the profits of each search to charity its raised over $11 million dollars to 1000s of charitys.local,national and international .

  again if you look on youtube for freerice.com you can see what nbc news has to say about it.the united nations has a charity called the world food programe they own a website called freerice.com its a quiz with many subjects english maths spanish etc and when you get an answer right the sponsors pay for 10 grains of rice, they have got up to 30 million grains in one day and since 2007 have got over 95 billion grains for the worlds starving.if you go onto youtube the wfp have a site where you can see the work they do around the world .

  I actually like Sanders and will probably vote for him. But I am not deluding myself. Trump has answered no questions. Satisfactorily to me anyway. He is like a reality TV show gone bad. Carson puts me to sleep. Fiorina catches my attention. Bush seems the likely shoo in despite all nay sayers. The other GOP candidates? Maybe Rubio sneaks in, but everyone else needs to drop out.

  I'm sure your parents function under the assumption that you "moving out" is also going to lead you to "leaving the religion" They don't think you are solid enough "in the truth" to maintain without their strings. Contemplating the empty nest is always difficult for parents. I had a great relationship with my parents. I left home at 19 and it was very hard on them. The difficulty in your relationship with your parents isn't the angst your moving out will cause them, instead the real difficulty is coming when they realize you are that "apostate".
